Your journey begins with an early departure from Kampala or Entebbe, heading north towards the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Located along the Kampala-Gulu highway, this sanctuary is home to Uganda’s only wild rhinos.

Upon arrival, embark on a guided rhino tracking experience. Walk alongside trained rangers as you observe these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. The sanctuary is also a haven for bird species, making it a great spot for bird enthusiasts.

After the rhino experience, proceed to Murchison Falls National Park. Enjoy the scenic drive through rolling savannah and bushland, arriving at your lodge in time to relax and enjoy the serene environment.

Start your day with an early morning game drive in the northern sector of Murchison Falls National Park. This area is rich in wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hyenas, and various antelope species. Your expert guide will help you track the animals and provide insights into their behaviors and habitats.

In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise along the Nile River. This experience offers an opportunity to see large pods of hippos, crocodiles basking on the riverbanks, and numerous bird species, such as African fish eagles and shoebill storks. The cruise ends near the base of Murchison Falls, where the Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge and plunges into a thunderous waterfall.

Optional: Hike to the top of the falls for a panoramic view of the powerful cascade and surrounding landscapes.

Enjoy a short morning game drive for a chance to spot more wildlife as the animals are most active during this time. After breakfast, begin your return journey to Kampala or Entebbe, stopping en route for lunch. Depending on your schedule, you may visit local craft markets for souvenirs.
